This page describes the cookies and similar technologies that Slabscope uses on slabscope.com. We aim to keep this list short and understandable.
01What cookies are
Cookies are small text files stored on your device by your browser. We also use closely related technologies — local storage, session storage — for similar purposes. We refer to all of these as "cookies" on this page.
02Cookies we use

We do not currently use third-party advertising or marketing cookies. If we add analytics or marketing cookies in the future, this page will be updated and (where required by law) we will ask for your consent first.
03How to control cookies
You can clear or block cookies through your browser settings. Disabling strictly-necessary cookies will affect core functionality — for example, you will not be able to stay signed in or complete checkout.
To clear local storage and grade history on the free tier: open your browser settings, find "Site data" or "Storage" for slabscope.com, and delete it. Your grade history will be gone.
04Do Not Track
Some browsers send a "Do Not Track" (DNT) signal. The standard is not consistently implemented across the web. Slabscope does not currently change its behaviour based on DNT signals because we do not run cross-site tracking or advertising cookies in the first place.
05Changes to this Cookie Policy
If we add new cookie types, this page will be updated and the effective date at the top will change. Material changes will be flagged on the site.
