Questions, answered

How accurate is Slabscope vs an actual PSA grade?+

We publish rolling 90-day accuracy at /accuracy — updated daily from real submissions our users log. As of now we land within 0.5 grade points the majority of the time on cards with both sides photographed clearly. Lighting matters; bad photos cap at PSA 8 by design.

Why is the Pro tier worth 2.5x the Collector tier?+

Cross-grader EV is the only feature in this category that tells you which grader to send a card to (PSA / CGC / BGS / TAG / AGS / ACE) ranked by predicted grade × actual market premium × actual fee tier. Card Ladder and Card Hedge tell you what your card is worth. Slabscope tells you what to do with it. One avoided $50 misrouted submission pays for two months of Pro.

What happens if I exceed my monthly limit?+

Pro: $0.10 per overage grade, capped at 2x your included quota. Breaker: $0.05 per overage grade. We warn at 80% of your cycle and again at 100% — no surprise bills. You can opt in to a higher cap in your portfolio settings.

Can I cancel? What about the free trial guarantee?+

Cancel anytime — no rollover commitments. Pro tier ships with a guarantee: if your first grade takes longer than 60 seconds, your first month is free. Annual subscribers can switch to monthly at any cycle boundary.

Are my card photos stored?+

Free tier: history lives in your browser only — nothing on our servers. Paid tiers: scans are stored against your account so you can revisit your portfolio, with a downloadable CSV export. We don't sell or share data.

Is Slabscope affiliated with PSA / CGC / BGS / TAG / AGS / ACE?+

No. Slabscope is independent of every grading company we rank. Our predictions are calibrated against published rubrics and real-world outcome data submitted by users.
